We took a little spin down to Pine
Creek on the afternoon of the Fourth
of July, on a business trip iu com
pany with Mr. F. M. Chrismau, the
Silver Lake merchant. We had the

here and that place. Mr. Chrisman
was surprised to see such prospects
for big crops of all kind, and to see
the improvements made in the last
twelve years, as he had not visited
that section of the county in that
