In the morning the Veterons will meet aud together with th usual uumber of citizens, march to the cemetery, and decorate the graves of the departed brothers. The Citizens Band, will play for the occasion. The "Fail" held last Friday eveniog for the benefit of the M. E. Church, was a decided success. The booths, six in number, were tastefully decor ated and liberally patronized. The total receipts from the work of the society amounted to two hundred and forty dollars. On Sunday, May 19th, the treasurer of the M. E. Church was "shocked" to find a $20.00 gold piece in the morning offering. The occurrence was repeated in the evening. While the party guilty of "stuffing" the contribution box with $20 pieces is not known, W. W. Brown, the horse mau, is suspected. We understand that Mr. Brown made the Church a present of KX last Friday. Quite a crowd of strangers can be seen on the streets of Lakeview at all times these days. Some looking for land, some for mines, seme for horses and some for cheep and wool. Lake view is said by traveling men to be the liveliest town they visit. They sell larger orders here than any town of the size on their ioutes.
