Mr. P. M. Cory, proprietor of the
western stage line, informs us that he
intends to put ou four horses ou the
stages between here and Bly, in order
to make the trips on schedule time.
His service so far has been good, and
it is bis desire to furnish good service
throughout the winter.
A bay mare branded with an M has
taken lodging at Wade Snyder's place,
the old J. O. George place, on the
west side of the slash, and uo one
knows who she belongs to. She cumo
out of the Mammoth stables on the
night of the fire, and was, no doubt,
supposeed, by her owner, to have been
burued.
W. Z.Moss came uo from Pine Creek
Tuesday and brought a lot of fine sam-
des of ore taken from the tern mine,
in which Mr. Moss is iutersted. luo

better the ore looks. Bui sayB they
are down only ten feet now, and tho

showed an abundance of free gold.

kins, who is manager of a photograph
supply house in Shanghai, China. As

play of this sort and a splendid pro
duction Is looked forward to. The

seats and a new stove have been put iu

tute circumstances. Tho man Is said
