other waited in the roadside to keep a
lookout.

form of the black servant with his

ered tone: "Is he fat?" The, negro
was superstitious, a his race is wout
to be, and he thought it was a ghost.

Hampton was shaken off his back. The

all ties were forgotten, and ht ran
