pupils, Chauncey Dent, Kay Cannon,

Profeeeor Vallandighara has 20 pupils
five cases of tardiness. There is one
new pupil, Bessie Wise.
Miss Pearl Linebarger has kit the
Lakeview School.
Last Friday a Literary Society was
organized in Prof. Vallandigham's room.
The following officers were elected.
President, Clarence Snider, Vice
President, Ottie Field; Secretary, Fred
Reynolds; Critics, Bertha Nickerson and
Kate Woodjock; Program Committee,
Ottie Field and Mshel Nickerson.
All are invited to attend the exercises
for Friday Oct. 0th.
There will be teachers' institute
Thursday, Friday and Saturday of this
week.
