Who cannot iret It: It Is re fused to companies, corporations. sawmill parties, nml owners of larnv establishments, who require liirpr quantities ami are expected to pur chaw; and to non-residents of the state in which the reserve Is located. 4. How much Is given, and ly whom: Penults for an amount not exceeding t'M in stiimpnge value may be granted by the forest supervisor. Permits for a larger amount, and within the stumbage value of $10, are granted onlyiby the Sec notary of the Interior. 5. How often the Mime person can apply: Not oftener than once a year. 6. How long a permit holds good: Six months from the date w hen It was Issued; or less time, In the dis cretion of the forest suiervisor. 7. What can Ik? obtained: All kinds of timber; generally dry fire wood, dry poles, and logs; also, if really needed, green timber. How obtained: (a) Application must lie made to the forest supervis or; (b) blank form of application Is furnished by the forest ollicers, and is filled out and signed by the appli cant. (If necessary, the forest officer will lend assistance in filling out the blank application; ici the timtier must be located bya forest officer lefore any cutting is done. 9.
