They were directed to a lady neighbor ; she told the woman the defend ant had never done anything wrong to her, but that her stepmother had forced her to tell a lie. On re-direct examina tion she said that she hid written some of the letters at the suggestion of the neighbor. Freighters continue to haul out the 1001 clip of Lake county ool.
