Mr. Fox thought The Examiner was forging ahead considerably to be able to ow n the largest press in Eastern Oregon, outside qf Baker City. Tucker at f3 for all over a year, and f 1.75 for lambs. Malloy will go with them to the desert. Manring is out of the busiucss for the present, and says he w ill take it easy this w interaud if everything is favorable will again engage in woolg rowing in the spring. Quite a number of our woolgrowers have gone out of the business this summer. There are two reasons for this sudden change, it is said, namely, the probability of a severe winter and the present good prices for sheep prevailing and the un certainty of what may bo done regarding the leasing of the public domain.
