in smallpox, children and a shotgun
were imlincriiiiinately mixed in Klko
county, Nevada, one day lust week.
The health orticer quarantined a houne

near Perth. Some of the Itenbrook
children went to a cabin occupied by
one Churchill and two others. They
told the children to leave and they re
fused, when the men nlappcd them and
sent them home. The father went to
the cabin and got into a fight with
Churchill, coming out second lieot.
lleiibrook then went home, secured a
shotgun and returning opened fire ou
the men. Two shot struck Churchill in
the chest and one in the forehead. An
other man was shot in the leg. The
wounds are not serious, but the end of
the trouble ia not yet.
