I could go on and on with
this “How Many” list. . . .
Yet a few, who have nothing
better to do than sit on their
lazy back-sides, criticise the
district for the problems it
does have.
I’m behind the Idanha Fire
District 100%.
I hope any
others that are too will say a
few words in behalf of the dis
trict and others will offer their
help and willingness to the
district, and will work with
them to form a better and bet
ter fire protection organiza
tion.
Sincerely,
MARTHA TAYLOR

State Parks
Have Temporary
Change In Rules
The Oregon Transportation
Commission recently approved
a temporary rule as an amend
ment to State Park Rules and
Regulations designed to assist
in alleviating the severe prob
lems being faced by owners of
recreation vehicles as a result
of the fuel shortage. The rule
is effective immediately.
A portion of the amendment
change will permit recreation
vehicles to stay 30 consecutive
days in any state park over
night camping area that Is
open. Present time limit is
seven consecutive days.
Another portion of the
amendment will permit stor
age at an individual campsite
for a recreation vehicle for up
to 30 days at a charge of $1.00
per night. The regular fee will
be charged when the unit is
occupied. This amendment will
apply to 10% of the campsites
in the parks that are now in
operation during the winter.
The amendment will expire
on May 15. The rules will be
in effect at the folowing seven
parks now open: Fort Stevens.
Cape Lookout. Beverly Beach,
Jessie M. Honeyman, Bullards
Beach, Harris Beach and
Valley of the Rogue. On April
12, it will apply to all parks '
until the expiration date.
