Monday after school Pep
Club had a worknight.
Wednesday
after school,
GAA held a meeting and talk­
ed about Spirit Week. Inter­
school council met third period
Wednesday. They talked about
the school lunch prices.
Thursday, there was an ex­
ecutive student council meet­
ing and they talked about the
homecoming. Friday, during
activity period, class meetings
were held. Each class talked
about how and what they were
going to do for Spirit Week.
For Spirit Week, everyone
mutt bring a stuffed animal
Monday Tuesday is Hat Day,
Wednesday
is Sock Day.
Thursday is Class Day, and
Friday is Red. White and Gray
Day. All week pennies are to
be brought for each class for
points.
Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Cree,
Mrs. William McClintock and
Sue attended a reception Sun­
day afternoon in Salem honor­
ing Mrs. Cree’s brother-in-law
and sister. Mr. and Mrs. O. W.
Gorton, who were celebrating
their Golden Wedding Anni­
versary.
Mr. and Mrs. Gorton were
married Oct. 10, 1923 at the
home of the late Rev. J. J.
Evans, minister of the First
Christian Church. Attending
the service were Mrs. Gorton’s
parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. C.
Dickinson, her sister, Mrs.
Cree, and Mr. Gorton’s sis-
ter and
brother-in-law, Mr.
and Mrs. Harold White, who

Gorton’s father is now deceas­
