A summary of the perman ent traffic recorder data for rural and urban state high-1 ways showed an increase of 7.6 percent in vehicular traffic in May, 1972, compared to May, 1971. The first five months of 1972 showed an increase of 8.6 per cent in vehicular traffic com pared to the first five months of 1971.
