The Oregon Game Commis­
sion has adopted regulations
for the taking of band-tailed
pigeons and mourning doves
for 1972 with the season
on both birds scheduled from
September 1 through Septem­
ber 30.
These
regulations
were
| discussed previously at the big
game regulations hearing In
1 June but final adoption was de­
layed until the federal regu­
latory framework on these mi­
gratory birds was received.
Bag limit for pigeons is 8 per
day, 8 in possession. Bag limit
on mourning doves is 10 per
day, 20 in possession.
Regulations for the taking
of other upland gamebirds, wa­
terfowl, and furbearing ani­
mals will be set by the Com-
