Correction:
A typographical error ap
peared in last weeks issue.
The new building being con
structed adjacent to the Idan-
' ha Community Church should
have read 24 by 40 feet, not
224 by 40.
Almost daily recently, false
rings on the fire phones are
plaguing those of us who have
them installed in our homes.
This apparently is being done
by children playing with
phones. Again, parents are be
ing asked to keep closer watch.
There are some 20-phones
hooked up in the system and
this means a lot of running for
those of us answering them.
Since the fire phone is an em
ergency phone, the circuits
should not be tied up by false
alarms inasmuch as someone
may be trying to report a real
fire and cannot get through.
This same problem is also oc
curring on the ambulance
phone, and it is not always
children. If you are not sure
of the number you wish to
reach, please consult your
phone directory.

Livery one of us is a Builder. Some of us build bridges, some build
houses; others build great fortunes or police records, electronic
brains or lawn furniture... but each and every one of us is a Com
munity Builder.
Because ... every penny we spend to satisfy our daily needs helps to
build the economy of the trade area in which it is spent... making
that community a happier, more prosperous place for its citizens
to live, to work, and to shop.
Which makes it profitable and wise to do our trading... our Com
munity Building... where we get the benefit of the inevitable results •
of it... in the economic area where we have our own lives and tal
ents invested... and where our children are being trained for life.
There may be nobleness and unselfishness about using our money
to help build bigger and better cities for the pleasure and profit of
other people... but is it practical?
