Ioan Druta of Romania was
at the weigh station Tuesday
forenoon, learning how the
heavy trucks plying highway
22 were weighed. He accomp
anied Clint Deyo, chief weigh-
niastcr in this area.
George Davis, local weigh
master told The Enterprise
that Mr. Druta will be in the
state for six months. His pri
mary purpose for being in the
state is to learn of highway
construction with the main em
phasis on maintenance. An in
teresting sidelight is that Ro
mania lias a climate like Ore

be concerned with snow re

methods learned while here

Burglarized
The Sportsman’s Center on
Highway 22 in Mill City was
broken into sometime between
3 and 4 o’clock a. m. Monday,
according to Police Chief Don
Gillenwater. He said entry was
made through one of the east
windows. Neighl >ors said they
heard a vehicle in the area at
about that time.
Gillenwater said “it is hard
to determine the value of the
items taken. The burglars took
h im1 guns, knives and fishing
t ickle. Some of the more ex
pensive knives were not taken
but some of lesser quality
were picked up.”
The police found some lat
ent fingerprints and these are
being processed in the State
Lab at he present time.
