We were sure sur prised at how soon the snow got deeper. On top of the hill there must have been 8 or 10 inches of snow, and a really . beautiful sight. We drove quite a ways up the Northfork but snow kept getting deeper and finally we decided we had gone far enough. Was really won derful to see but we were very glad we didn’t have that much snow down here. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Thomas Sr. and Chris left last Friday afternoon for a trip to San Jose. Calif., where they met their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Neal King and son of Fresno, at Walt’s uncles, Charles Thomas. They had a nice visit with him and a cousin. Betty Lutz.
