AARP Executive Board Meeting Held ' The first executive board meeting of the Santiam Chap- ter of American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. M. G. Rambo Thursday even ing. Orville Downing, chapter president, conducted the meet ing with those present expres sing their ideas on activities for the winter. It was voted to have a bingo party the evening of October 20 with the time and place to be announc- ed later. Mel Rambo, program chairman, will head the ar- rangements. Present at the borad meeting besides the Rambos were Mr. and Mrs. Orville Downing, Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Stevens, Mrs. Herbert Peck, Clyde Bate, Mrs. Elmer Shaw, Ervin Pet- erson, Mr. and Mrs. J. C.
