During the session, Kelly was elected and installed as First Vice President of the State wide organization. He also served as toastmaster at one of the dinners. Besides the businses session, panel discussions, and addres ses by officials of the Postal i Department, there were many side-lights for the entertain ment of the many guests, in cluding buffet luncheons, ban quets, and dances. A golf tournament was held for those interested, and a tour of a near-by buffalo ranch drew a large caravan of cars. Those , who desired could ride a truck out to get a closer look at the n herd of over 100 animals, in cluding many calves. A picnic luncheon was held in the John Day city park, fol lowed by tours of the Canyon • City Museum, the Chinese Mu seum, a try at gold punning, and bridge playing at Moun- i tain View Country club.
