Won into God’s eternal kingdom that is prepared for his Saints, And made a Saint of that poor soul If we had thought, and took a chance. There are people in the market we should speak encouragement to, They might hear and also believe and many a time it’s thanks to you. We should often visit our neighbors With words of Heaven above, Tell them of their wonderful Saviour And of God’s eternal love. We should go down in the slums seeking for some soul to save, Telling them of their risen Saviour and of the life beyond the grave. Some of the houses are quite dirty as they open the door they really smell, But we are there on a mission for Jesus and we have rich goods to sell. While we are there we meet the Children we are there to lend our helping hand, Speaking the words of our loving Saviour letting them know where the Christian stand. Our hearts go out for those children Living in that dismal place, We walk and talk like a Christian Making no difference, between color or race. They are part of God’s Creation Jesus suffered, on the Cross to Save, If we pull one out, of that slimy pit It will be worth the time we gave.
