Long, Woman's Page Editor Mrs. Mikkelsen Gets Women's Club Office A large representative group of Mill City Woman’s club members attended the Spring meeting of the Marion Coun ty Federation of Women’s clubs held at a Salem restau- rant Thursday, April 29. Fif- teen ladies were in their group, which was the largest outside of Salem, with 17 representing the hostess club. Highlight of the business session for the local women was the election and installa tion of Mrs. O. M. Mikkelsen of Mill City as second vice- president of the Federation. In the absence of the president, Mrs. Melbourne Rambo, due to illness, the annual report was given by Mrs. Dean Mowery. Mrs. Harry Mason, out-going chairman of the Farm Home Board, also gave her report. Mrs. Rambo had also served as chairman of the nominating committee. Included in the group from here were Mrs. Alex Burrell, Mrs. Glen Cummings, Mrs. O. K. DeWitt, Mrs. Laurence Doble. Miss Daisy Geddes, Mrs. J. C. Kimmel, Mrs. Harry Ma son, Mrs. O. M. Mikkelsen, Mrs. Dean Mowery, Mrs. John Swan, Mrs. Walter Thomas, Mrs. Ralph Youmans, Mrs. Bernard Saalfeld, Mrs. Cyril Archer, now of Salem, and her guest, Mrs. Bloor. Round Robin Pinochle Local Folks Attend Entertained at Drynan Salem Star Meeting Home Monday Night The Round Robin Pinochle club was entertained Monday evening at the home of Mari- lynne Drynan. Refreshments were served before the even ing of cards. Goldie Rambo won pinochle, Lu MacGregor low prize and Margaret Boroughs won high prize.
