Her man Mason, who was an ard ent sportsman, was a spinner of “tall tales,” and once told me he was the “biggest liar in town.” I don’t know about that, but he was one who en joyed visiting with people. He was a cheerful sort of person, and one who had a pleasant word for everyone. While he was a custodian at the local school, he made many friends amongst the younger set. He will be sadly missed not only 'by his family, but by his host of cronies along the main drag. $4.00 a YEAR — 10c a Copy Use of Public The following guidelines for public use of Santiam High School Library have been es tablished and are listed below. The library will be open to the public on Mondays anti Thurs days. starting Thursday, Janu ary 7. The library will close on May 20, and will again be opened to the public around the middle of September for the 1971-72 school year. 1. Books may be checked out from the reserved shelf. 2. Books may be checked out for two weeks. 3. A limit of three books may be checked our at one time. 4. Magazines and reference books may be used in the li brary but cannot be checked out for home use. 5. Hours will be from 3:30 to 5:30 on Mondays and Thurs days.
