ary of Mrs. Elsie Potter of Sa­
lem, former long time resident
of Mill City, was observed by
members of her family Sun­
day, although the actual anni­
versary was Monday, August
17. Her son and wife, Mr. and
and Mrs. Lafe Potter, of West
Linn, who were accompanied
by their grandson, Ricky Lar­
son of Seattle, took her out for
Chinese food, which is one of
her favorites. Additional guests
were Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kel­
ly-
Mrs. Potter was able to en­
joy her birthday gifts and cards
and a lighted birthday cake in
her apartment at Willamette
Lutheran Horne in Keizer fol­
lowing the dinner. Later, she
was returned to the Home’s in­
firmary, where she has been
