Tuers, was graduated last Friday from OCE with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminology. His last semester of school was spent in working at the offices of the State Police in Salem, being the youngest of ficer in the state. At present he is assigned to the Coquille Area with the State Police. He and his wife, Patti, and daughter, Tracy, reside in Reedsport. Home from Vacation Mrs. Verne Shaw, with Mr. and Mrs. Bill Howe of Salem, went to’ San Francisco last week. Mr. Howe is the assist ant manager of the J. C. Penny- Store and while he attended business meetings the ladies went shopping and sightseeing in the Frisco area, 'rhe weather was delightful and they en joyed dinner one evening on Fisherman’s Wharf. They were joined in Auburn i California by Barbara Howe's' parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Barton who were vacationing in Oregon and Washington and on there way home to Ohio. Mr. and Mrs Barton lived in Mill City during the Dam con struction and will be remem bered by many people here. The group went to Reno from San Francisco for three days before returning home.
