NOTICE Plans are now being made for the Vacation Bible School which will be held by the First Christian Church during June. T wj sessions are being planned. The first session will be June 1-5, from 9:30 to 11:30 AM., for children who are now 4 years old through kind ergarten age. The second session will be for children who are now in the first through the fourth grades. This will be June 8-12, fr m 9:30 to 12:00. There will be a charge of $1.00 per pupil. Anyone wish ing more information or want ing to enroll their children may do so by calling 897-2147 or 897-2716. It is being asked to please enroll your children right away so that there will be en ugh supplies on hand for each child on the opening day. MILL CITY PROPERTY OWNERS With hot dry weather and fire hazard season approaching the city council asks that everyone keep the grass cut and removed from their property as well as hazardous debris of all kinds. Lyons Garden Club Notes 20th Anniversary LYONS—A tour of the Com e r f j r d’s Rohdodendron a n < Azalea gardens was made bj members of the Lyons Garden Club proceeding the meeting at the home of Mrs. Otto Weld man honoring the 20th annver- sairy of the club. A delicious luncheon was served by Mrs. Weidman and daughter Cathy, followed by the business meeting. With Mrs. Weidman presiding and Mrs. James as secretary, a dis cussion was held on their an nual picnic with date to be announced later. The history of the club for the past 20 years was given by Mrs. Hugh Johnston. The June meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. Orvlle Downing with Mrs. Arthur Olmstead co-hostess. Attending were Mmes. Chester Riggs, Harley Scott, Ralph Downer, Arthur Olmstead. James Me Pheeters, Floyd Bassett, Glen Julian, Lenard Crus n, Mike Fink.
