3—The Min City Enterprise, Thursday, May 7, 1970 Jayceettes Host Senior Camp Fire Girls Have Cook-Out Franklins Honored Citizen Bingo Party On Golden Wedding One of the most heart-warm ing events which has taken place in town in some time was the Bingo party for the Senior Citizens sponsored by the Jayceettes last Friday af ternoon, May 1, at Fellowship Hall. There were twenty-four guests, men and w men both, besides the young women who planned the affair. Each hostess had baked two things to be used ¿is refresh ments as well as Bingo prizes, to add to items purchased from the group’s treasury. According to Mrs. Hurston Nicholas, who assisted with arrangements, the guests were very appreciative which made it all very worthwhile and a rewarding experience. It is hoped that other such parties may be given, possibly with the aid of other organizations showing an interest by taking a turn in hosting one or more.
