Citizen Bingo Party
On Golden Wedding
One of the most heart-warm
ing events which has taken
place in town in some time
was the Bingo party for the
Senior Citizens sponsored by
the Jayceettes last Friday af
ternoon, May 1, at Fellowship
Hall. There were twenty-four
guests, men and w men both,
besides the young women who
planned the affair.
Each hostess had baked two
things to be used ¿is refresh
ments as well as Bingo prizes,
to add to items purchased from
the group’s treasury.
According to Mrs. Hurston
Nicholas, who assisted with
arrangements, the guests were
very appreciative which made
it all very worthwhile and a
rewarding experience. It is
hoped that other such parties
may be given, possibly with
the aid of other organizations
showing an interest by taking
a turn in hosting one or more.
