Hattie Fend Hods Bid or Bundi Club The Bid or Bunch Pinochle club met at the home of Hat tie Fencl Monday evening. Ann Hovey won the high prize and Ixorralne Mills low. Pinochle was won by Shirley Pearce. Refreshments were served — by the hostess before the ses- sion of cards. Edna Gordon won the door prize. The main topics of discussion included; the up coming student body and cheerleader elections, passing of activity sheets, and a cum munity clean-up drive. Intra-school Council met on Tuesday, April 14, to discuss a possible school project which would benefit the community. Varsity cheerleader try outs and elections were held Wed nesday, April 15. Varsity cheer leaders for the 1970-71 school year are: Sherry Richards, Pen ny Lewellen, Jackie Evans, Jackie Clark, and Jenny Chance. The annual Athletic Ban- __ , featuring _ guest speaker quet, Ted Ogdahl, was held Thurs day evening April 16. Approx imately 120 persons attended the event. Junior Varsity cheerleader try-outs and elections were held Friday, April 17. The Jun ior Varsity cheerleading squad for the 1970-71 school year in clude: Sonja Martin, Lisa Ga briel, Iris Hampton, Karen Davis, and Sheryl Olson. Class meetings were held Friday, April 17, during activi ty period. Senior Class mem bers made plans for Senior Skip which will be May 8, 9, and 10. The Junior Class dis cussed plans for the upcoming Jr.-Sr. Banquet and Jr.-Sr. Prom. Sophomores discussed money-making projects and plans for next year.
