Rex Howard Herron of Gates and Sandra Kay Cooper, Mill City have both made the hon or roll at the University of Oregon during the winter term. Cooper drove to Corvallis to pick up their daughter, Peggy, who is a sophomore at OSU, then they went on to Eugene to visit their daughter, Sandra, who is a junior at U of O, ma joring in Parks and Recrea tion. Sandra was on the winter term honor roll with a 3.50 GPA. She will be doing her field work in her major this summer as an employe of Portland General Electric Co., working in their Roslyn Lake Park near Sandy. Sponsoring the clean-up pro gram will be the city councils of both Detr.it and Idanha, the Detroit Woman’s Civic Club, The Woman’s Mission Society of the Idanha Commun ity Church, members of the Idanha Rural Fire Protection District and the Detroit Plan-; ning Commission.
