Mrs. Fritchi Hosts | Expectant Parents St. Patrick Club LYONS— Marian Fritchi was Class Scheduled hostess for the meeting of the St. Patrick Catholic Club at her h me Monday afternoon. A gixxl report was heard from the Valentine Cake Walk, and plans made for their St. Pat rick card and bunco party to be held Sunday evening, March 15, at the Catholic Commun ity hall at 7:30 p. m. with the following committee in charge Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bouche, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Silbernagel, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Voltin, Mrs. Henry Holzfuss and Mrs. Ilse Green. The March meeting will be held at the h;me of Mrs. Paul Yost. Present for the meeting were Rose Schwindt, Evelyn VanAgtmael, Alice Bouche, Kathleen Manning, Marcelle Nydegger, Ann Holzfuss, Katie Sieg. Peggy Blackburn, Mary Voltin, Mary Fink, Shirley Peterson, Anne Pietrok, Sue Yost, Diane Dober, Father Ber nard and the hostess Mrs. Fritch 1. Expectant parents are in vited to enroll with the Mar ion County Health Department for five weekly sessions in Mother and Baby Care. A new class is started every other month The next class is scheduled to begin Tuesday, March 3rd. 1970 from 7:30 to 9:00 p. m. at the Salem General Hospital Auditorium. The discussions will be based upon things class members wish to cover but may include care of moth er before baby comes, prepar ation at home for newborn, labor and delivery, care of ba by, the emotional aspects of the new’ child in family and throughout the first year of life. Films and demonstrations will be used as well as group discussion to make classes in teresting and informative. The classes are held in the evening to make it possible for b:th expectant parents to attend.
