Fraternal Order of Eagles La­
dies’ Auxiliary held a banquet
Thursday evening at the Riv­
erview in honor of their State
President, Donna Buffington.
State Secretary Mary Chapman
of Salem, was also present.
Following a short business
meeting, Pres. Myrtle Prich­
ard, introduced the honored
guests and presented the Shite
President with a gift from the
Auxiliary. A social hour fol­
lowed and cake and coffee
were served by Shirley Knapp,
Irene Clason and Germaine
Wiltse.
Members of the Round Ro­
bin Pinochle club were enter­
tained Monday night at the
home of Mrs. Mabel Yankus.
Mrs. Yankus served refresh­
ments at the beginning of the
evening.
High prize was won by Dot-
tie McClain, low by Mabel
Yankus and pinochle by Lu
MacGregor.

Mrs. Tena Graham was host­
ess at her home on Friday
morning for a coffee from 10
until 12. Mrs. Charlie French
and Mrs. Richard Freeman
were co-hostesses. The three
ladies are members of the
Estarl Committee of Marilyn
Chapter No. 145 OES and pro­
ceeds from the coffee went
to the Estarl Fund.

Sgt. William McClintock and
his two daughters, Patty and
Sue left Saturday evening for
their home in San Diego after
spending the past week at

C. Dickinson and Mr. and Mrs.
Lowell Cree.
Friday they visited his fa­
ther, Robert L. McClintock at
Cresswell. Friday evening his
brother and sister-in-law, Mr.
and Mrs. Jack McClintock vis­
ited at the Cree home, also Mr.
and Mrs. Floyd Johnson.
Saturday visitors were Mrs.
Paul Cree and her granddaugh­
ters, Janet and Darla Cowden
from Madras.

and his nephew, Lloyd Goff
from Springfield visited.

and Mrs. Donald Cree and Mr.
and Mrs. Gordon McMorris at
Fox Valley.
Sgt. McClintock will be leav­
ing in a few weeks for Viet­
nam. He has been in the serv-
ice for 22 years and is now
stationed at San Diego with
the U. S. Marine Corps.
