Phone 897-2772 Mill City, O State Officer at At Fred Taylor Home Rainbow Advisory IDANHA — The Idanha home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Taylor was the setting for a Valentine party late Sunday afternoon when the Young Life group of the Idanha C.mmunity church met. Following a talk on the "heart” by Rev. Harold Roth, entertainment was provided by the playing of games. For the occasion decorative valentine motif set the stage for the event. Center of at tention was a valentine cake, baked and decorated by their host, which was served with pink ice cream balls that had been dipped in cocoanut and each centered with a lighted candle. Punch completed the fare. Enhancing the refreshment hour even more were the cute little valentine aprons, each marked with appropriate sayings, the boys wore as they served the refreshments. The apr ns were designed and made by their hostess, Mrs. Taylor. In attendance were Rev. Harold Roth, Barbara White- ley, Jim, Donald and Gerald Hiebert, Joanne Hopson. Santiam Extension Group To Meet At Gates Feb. 12 GATES — The Santiam Canyon Home Extension unit will meet Thursday morning. February 12, at the Gates Community Center, for their regular meeting and discus sion. The topic for this month is “Alcoholism” and will be led by Mrs. Willie Bradley and Mrs. Janet Lewis. A plastic home products party and a silent auction will also be held before and after the regular meeting. The pro ceeds will be donated to the Canyon Scholarship fund.
