Archie Thompson, who is confined to the Marian Home at Sublimity, is said to be getting along as well as can lie expected. His son, Ralph, from California was here to visit him and spent a week in Mill City with his mother. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Scott spent the weekend in Albany visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Hill. Mill City friends and rela tives have received word that John Kelly has again been selected for a leading role by the University of Arizona Theatre Players. He will have the role of Cornelius in “Hello Dolly.” This summer John had the leading role in the play depicting the life of George M. Cohan. John is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kelly and a graduate of the U of O. Mr. and Mrs. Roger I j . Pen rose announce the arrival of a baby girl, born January 16, 1970, at Salem General Hospi tal. The little girl weighed 7 lbs. 14 ?z. and has been named Kimberly Louise. She joins two brothers, Keith and Ken neth. Grandparens are Mr. and Mrs. Chester Penrose of Or land, California, and Mrs. Q. L. Wilson of Eureka, Califor nia. Mrs. Chester Penrose is staying at the Roger Penroses assisting with the care of her new granddaughter. Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Har lan spent a week visiting in California with friends and re latives, including her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Watkins and their two sons at Cardiff by the Sea. This is the first time the Har lans had seen their youngest grandson, who is six months old.
