Highway 22 Phone 897-2785 The date for accomplishing restoration work and the re moval of boats at Marion Lake, now within the Mt. Jefferson Wilderness, had been post poned until May 1, 1970. The postponement was ord ered by Regional Forester Charles Connaughton because Congress is currently consid ering legislation that would af fect future management by withdrawing Marion Lake from the Wilderness. Slash burning is done annual ly by area logging companies, under supervision of the For est Service. One hundred sixty-five re ceived 225 immunizations at the annual Marion County Health Clinic held here. Nine teen physicals were given.
