Mr. and Mrs. Ernie Schroed er were h:sts to Mr. and Mrs E. R. Sarff and family, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Schroeder and family of Mehama and Mrs. Jackie Hetinger and children at Thanksgiving dinner. Mr. and Mrs. Ernie Schroed er and Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Sarff traveled to Portland Sun day, December 7, to watch Mr Sarff compete in the “Bowl Down Cancer" tournament. Proceeds go for cancer re search. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Baech- ler and June enjoyed "Paint Y ur Wagon" in Portland on Thursday, November 27, and then had dinner with their niece Mr. and Mrs. Roger Best. Mr. and Mrs. Verl Shirley, Delbert Neal and Lorraine Mills enjoyed an evening of fun at the Eagles hall Satur day, December 6. Mr. and Mrs. Gael Cutsforth visited Mr. and Mrs. George Child in Newport and attended the opening ceremonies at the Spanish Head Inn at Lincoln City on Saturday, December 6. He has been wounded three times during his service in the armed forces over there, the latest injury occurring near the end of November.
