Edward Schroeder Named to High Office National Forest Assoc. Oregon State Forester J. Ed ward Schroeder of Salem and formerly of Mill City was re cently elected vice-president of the National Association of State Foresters at a meeting in Portland, Maine. He replaced John R. Tiller, the state forester of South Car olina, who became the new president. The NASF represents state forestry in all 50 states and conducts a business meeting once a year. Standing commit tees work throughout the year to influence national develop ments in forestry to benefit all the states.
