Mr. and Mrs. Don Moffatt
spent Sunday afternoon in
Beaverton at the home of Mr.
and Mrs. Cris McMann. Mrs.
McMann’s mother, Mrs. J. D.
Frace of San Diego had arriv­
ed there the night before for
a visit. Mrs. Frace is the dau­
ghter of the Don Moffatts.
Mrs. Wallace Hovey was
honored at a surprise birthday
party at her home Sunday ev­
ening, October 26, when many
friends arrived bringing with
them a delicious buffet and
birthday cake. An evening of
bridge was then enjoyed by
all.
Mill City friends have re­
ceived word from Miss Jewell
Boone telling that she and her
sister, Miss Ala Boone have
purchased a home in Clare­
more, Oklahoma and have mo­
ved there from Ramona, Okla­
homa. Their new address is
407 Woods Lane, Claremore,
Oklahoma, 74017. Miss Boone
lived in Mill City for a num­
ber of years while teaching in
the Mill City schools.
