President of Rebekah Assembly Visits Santiam Lodge Wednesday The president of the Rebek ah Assembly of Oregon paid her official visit to Santiam Rebekah lodge last Wednes day. Joan Boatter, president, was acc mpanied by past pre sident, Blanche Imel; Helen Cottman, Home Endowment chairman; Andre Purdy, dis trict deputy president of Dis trict N3. 7 and Marie Stickney D. P. P. of District No. 74. Visiting lodges included those from Salem, Scio, Sil verton, Stayton, Milwauk’e, Portland. Boring No. 213, Acme No. 32 and Mt. Jefferson No. 78. Carmen Barnhardt, drill cap tain and lodge members of Santiam, presented a tribute in honor of the present who was escorted to the altar and presented with a gift depicting her emblems. The gift was made by Mrs. Stickney. Antonia Thomas, degree captain, presented an exempli- ificatim of the vice-grand charge. Mrs. Boatter gave a talk on her work and the projects she has planned for the year.
