There were no bidders Mon day in a sealed hid auction for 500,000 board feet of federal timber in South Shore Thin ning No. 2 sale. The sale in volved 480.000 board feet of Douglas-fir advertised at $50.- 60 per thousand and 20,000 board feet of western hemlock and other coniferous species at $32.45 per thousand. The stand is located about 3’2 miles southwest of here. The sale had been rescheduled because of duplicate bids received at an earlier date. A spokesman at the Ranger Station said any further action on the sale will have to come from the Regional Foresters office. ■| «.
