respectively in the final bid­
ding. The Douglas-fir adver­
tised rate was $85.90 and the
Western Hemlock $52.60 per
thousand.

qualified bidders for this tract
of timber. The 87C MBF of
Douglas-fir logs and peeler
blocks sold at the advertised
rate of $86.25 per thousand
and 680 MBF Western hemlock
and other coniferious species
sold for $52.10 per thousand,
five cents more than the ad­
vertised rate.
Other species of timber in­
cluded in the sale was 300
MBF pine logs. 150 MBF Cedar
logs and an unestimated a-
mount of Douglas-fir special
cull logs and blocks.
Douglas-fir special cull logs,
pine and cetlar was sold at fix­
ed rates. Included in the sale
was 250 acres of substandard
timber within the sale area
which sold at the advertised
rate of $1.00 per acre. The sale
is located about 12 miles East
