Another Mother’s Day has

daughter Laura Nelson enter­
tained “both sides of the fam­
ily” at her home.
With all the traffic on the
highways from Friday through
Sunday, it was surprising any­
one was home.
Decided I’m really aging—
as I got my first sentimental

son in years. Usually it’s one
of these sexy Grandma type
things! Well, I love sentiment
—doesn’t everyjne whether
they admit it or not. But be­
ing remembered and rememb­
ering others is the important
thing.

gagement and forthcoming
marriage of Terri Ann Clegg
to Earl B. Humpreys.
The bride elect is the daugh­
ter of Mr. and Mrs. Wiley
Clegg < f St. Helens. Mr. Hum­
phreys is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. George B. Humphreys of
Portland, former area resi­
dents.
Miss Clegg was graduated
from St. Helens high school in
1968 and is employed in Port­
land. Her fiance graduated
from Santiam High school with
the class of 1964. He served a
tour of duty in the U. S. Navy
and is currently employed by
a Portland firm.
