will tell you. Since these fab
rics resist soil, they seldom
need washing. Spots and stains
can be wiped off with a damp
cbth. Rubbing or twisting the
fabric may break the fibers.
For those glass fiber fabrics
whose labels recommend ma
chine washing, use slow agita
tion. When you’ve finished,
run the empty machine
through a clear rinse cycle.
Then swipe the inside with a
damp cloth
AEROSOL CANS CAN RE
EXTREMELY DANGEROUS
if improperly used More and ;
more products are packaged in
these convenient containers,
but a few precautions should
be noted.
Even empty cans can ex
plode if heat causes the re-,
maining gas to expand. Before i
a can is discarded, release all
the pressure by holding your
finger on the button until the
hissing sound stops.
Never throw empty aero
sols into a fire or incinerator,
and don’t puncture them The
label suggests other precau
tions depending on the con
tents. Keep them out of the
reach of children; they are not
playthings.
