The serving table was centered with a beautiful two-tiered wedding cake and gulden tap ers, and golden flowers. The individual tables were all cov ered with golden colored cloths centered with a bouquet of flower and bouquets of golden flowers placed about the room. ! Cutting and serving the cake I were Mrs. Leonard Thoma of I Lebanon, sister of Mr. Hiatt, and Mrs. Gladys Nygaard of Lyons, sister of Mrs. Hiatt. Pouring the coffee was Mrs. Eulalia Lyons and presiding at the punch bowl was Mrs. Gail Elmer with Teresa Thoma of Lebanon in charge of the guest book. Mr. and Mrs. Hiatt were married March 22, 1919 at Al bany and have lived their en tire life here. They have one daughter, one grandson and two great grand daughters. Hosting the affair were their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Emer of Al bany, also their grandson and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Gail Elmer also of Albany. Fish on their Golden Wedding anniversary Sunday, March 30 at their home at Aloha, from 2 to 4 o’clock. Mr. and Mrs. Fish are form er residents of Mill City and he was a barber here and later at Lyons. To Meet at Eastwood on Tuesday, April 1 (no foolin’) at 8 p. m. Plans are already underway for the annual 4ht of July cel ebration which is partially handled by TAC with adult as sistance from the Steering c mmittee. Mrs. East wood, president of the group, said that she would like to urge that all organiza tions have representatives at the meeting. In order to make the efforts of the Steering committee suc cessful 100% community parti cipation is necessary. Groups that have not designated some one to represent their group should do so before the Tues day meeting. Sant'am Hospital Auxiliary Meeting Mrs. Ercil Wilson, the new president of the Santiam Me morial Hospital Auxiliary, pre sided at its orientation meeting Thursday. Reports were given by the committee chairman. Handbooks were made and distributed to each board mem ber by Mrs. Roger L. Daniel son, a new director. Mrs. Leonard Cruson was named program chairman. Mrs. Lee Glidewell gave a brief out line for a set of guide lines cr by-laws for the Cheerette program. A committee was named to study the by-laws of the Auxiliary. An audit report was given by Mrs. Albert Stevens. Mrs. Cruson gave an account of the Hospital Auxiliary Institute held in Portland March 10-11. Mrs. Delbert Sandner, chair man of Ways and means, told of plans being formulated for an Art Show to be held in April. Gale Christensen addressed the group and spoke of future plans. The cere mony was performed at the First Christian Church with only members of the family present. The 7 o’clock ceremony was performed by the Rev. Charles Fultz, pastor of the church with Mrs. Eldon Hutchinson playing the wedding music. Lighting the tapers were Ricky Lady, son of the bride and Mark Moffatt, son of the groom. For her wedding the bride selected a street length en semble of nile green with the dress made sheath style and a matching lace coat. She carried a bouquet of coral roses on a white Bible. Her only attendant was Mrs. Albin Cooper, wearing a coral crepe sheath dress with match ing lace coat. She carried a daisy nosegay. Best man for his son was Donald Moffatt and ushers were Mike Moffatt and Tony Savage. For her daughters wedding Mrs. Clarence Golden selected a blue linen dress and she wore a daisy corsage. Mrs. Donald Moffatt, mother of the groom, wore a dusty rose wool dress and she also had a daisy cor sage. A reception was held at the church following the wedding with Miss Leona Lamb cutting the bride’s cake and Mrs. Doug las Winn assisted by Miss Peg gy Cooper, pouring. The serving table was center ed with the wedding cake de corated in the brides colors of coral and green. Tall green tapers in crystal holders were also on the table. Following a wedding trip to the coast the couple will live in Mill City where he has a plumbing business and she is employed as bookkeeper. Above are pictured Donovan L. March 17. Mrs. Le land Manning presided over the meeting with the usual business carried out. A good report was heard from their annual St. Patrick Card and bunco party which proved to be successful.
