Eugene Wednesday where she
was an over night guest at the

sister Mr. and Mrs. Clarence
Decker. Thursday she went to
Renton, Washington where she
will spend several days at the
home of her daughter and fam­
ily, Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Tit­
us and sons. From there she
will go to Anchorage, Alaska
to spend a month at the home
of another daughter, Mr. and
Mrs. Kenneth Cornell and
children.
Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Spell-
meyer and children Shawna
and Kurt of Eugene were Wed­
nesday night and Thursday
guests with relatives in Ly­
ons. They were at the home of
his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Frank Spellmeyer and her par­
ents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Good­
ell.
Mrs. Florence Burmester
was a Monday shopper in Sal­
em and also visited at the
home of Mrs. Ida Burmester
and Mrs. Ernest Nastzger. Mrs.
Burmester was a step mother
and Mrs. Nastzger a sister of
the late Lyle Burmester.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Spell­
meyer were week-end guests
at Longview, Washington at
the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ruby
Block.

ited Methodist Church and Wo­
men’s Society of Christian Ser­
vice were in Mill City last
Friday, March 7. They took
part in the World Day of Pray­
er Services held at the Pres­
