Mr. and Mrs. Ed Castle. Mrs.
Pasties brother, Walter Her­
berger of Salem was also a
Sunday guest at the Castles.
Guests July 14 at the home
of Mr. and Mrs. Frank White
were Mrs. Roy Bohanan and
children of Gervais. Richi Bo­
hanan remained at the home
of his grandparents and plans
on picking beans here.
Sgt. Dennis Morgan, who re­
cently returned from a tour
of duty in Vietnam and his
sister, Mrs. Thomas Lathrop
of Salem were guests. Thurs­
day, July 19 at the home of
Mrs. Jack Ryland.
Mr. and Mrs. Donald L.
Teeters are being congrat­
ulated on the birth of their
first grandchild on July 16.
A son named Troy Duane
was born to their son and
daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs.
Harold Teeters at Salem Me­
morial hospital who weighed
6 lbs. 9 ozs. Maternal grand­
parents are Mr. and Mrs.
Clarence Williams of Stayton
and great grandparents are
Mr. and Mrs. Chris McDonald
of Glide and Mr. and Mrs.
John M. Teeters of Mehama.
Harold Teeters is stationed on
the USS Union in Vietnam
waters and expects to be
home in a couple of months.
Guests recently at the home
of Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Hel­
sel were Mrs. Emanda Black
of Meade, Kansas, Mrs. Helen
Warner of Manhattan, Kan­
sas and Mrs. Willa Twiehaus
and daughter of Higginsville,
Missouri. Mrs. Black is the
mother, Mrs. Warner a sister
and Mrs. Puriehaus is a niece
of Mrs. Helsel.
Don Engdahl and three
children of Santa Rosa, Calif.,
and his mother Mrs. John
Engdahl of Phoenix, Arizona
left July 21 for California af­
ter a few days visit here
when they were guests at
the home of Mrs. G. V. Chris­
tensen, Bonnie and Stuart
and visited with other rela­
tives and friends here. Lee
and Max Engdahl stayed here
to pick beans.

at the home of his brother
and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs.
Art Anderson. The Milton An­
dersons are in the process of
moving to Mill City where he
is employed.

of Mr. and Mrs. C. M. Coop­
er were Mr. and Mrs. Ernie
Crowder of Prineville. Mr. and
Mrs. Ed Castle were also at
the Coopers to visit with the
Crowders.
Dinner guests Sunday, July
21 at the Harold Longfellow
home were Mrs. Blanch Mc­
Donald and Mrs. Ellen Good
and grandaughter Dawn Good
all of Salem. The ladies are
aunts of Mrs. Longfellow and
they also visited with another
nieces family the Donald Teet­
ers.

day. Mr. Johanson is the new
minister at the Lyons Meth­
odist church.

turned home Sunday after
spending several days at Paul­
ina Lake.
