Mr. and Mrs. Paul Penning­ ton were hosts for a dinner and family gathering held at their home Sunday, June 30, honoring her grandmother, Mrs. H. C. Edwards of Mill City on her 86th birthday an­ niversary, with 28 attending from Seattle, Salem, Alsea, Mill City and Mehama. The new minister and his wife of the Lyons Methodist church are Greg and Hope Johanson from Salem, they plan to move into the parson­ age in September. Greg is a pre-ministerial student at Wil­ lamette University, a senior psychology major. Hope at­ tended Seattle Pacific College for two years. Her parents live in Portland where her father is Rev. Arthur L. Han­ sen of Capitol Hill Methodist church.
