The girls also plan on having a play day next Wednesday in order for the girls from the 8th grade to get acquainted with the members of the club. Friday during 7th period a FT A meeting was held. The club decided to go to Pietros for pizza on May 28. They al so decided to have a meeting for those who wish to join the club next year. Since there i.« such a small member Eugene ship the election of next years officers will, not be held until next fall. Also next year the club will allow Sophomores to join. for Pep Club met during activ ity period Friday to discuss next year uniforms. Since the girls felt there wasn’t enough suggestions to chose from, they divided into small groups to go through pattern books for more selections. The annual class sponsored a tWirp dance Friday, the 17th. The dance was a success with a large crowd attending. Student Council was held Tuesday, May 14, in the li brary. Both old and new mem bers attended. The committee for the all school dance re ported that the dance will be held on the 24th of May and Clayton Henry will be the Master of Ceremonies for the evening. It was also reported that there will be a bonfire held after cleanup day. An activity sheet for a bottle drive for Honor Society was passed for next Monday the 20th. The council decided during the meeting that some time within the next couple of weeks the Council will be given material on Parliamen tary Procedure. After study ing this material the mem bers will be tested. It is nop ed that as a result of this student . council will be able to run more smoothly and ef ficiently next year. The pos sibility of pins for the mem bers of student council was discussed, also, but nothing definite has been decided yet. Club charters were accepted for renewal for Honor Society, Pep Club, and Varsity S. Tuesday night the annual award night was held.
