men’s benefit gets underway.
The fun for the evening
will start at 7 p. m. sharp
with many games, conces

The aroma of hot dogs and
hamburgers served by fire
men’s wives and others al
ways draws people to the low
er level of the fire hall,
where other games are in
progress.

This is the only money-mak
ing event for the year for

large crowd is expected again

Nears Completion
DETROIT — Ralph Robert

Adult Library Classes
To Start Monday
Next Monday, November 20
there will be an adult class
at the library at Santiam
High school when friends and
parents may see first hand
how the new library program
and audio-visual equipment
works.
The young people at the
school have been using the
equipment for some time and
it is now available for adults.
The classes will operate from
7:30 until 9:30 so that most
of the film strips may be
viewed at the school; how-
ever they may be checked
out.
There is also a wide selec-
tion of books which may be
read during the Monday even
ing periods. It is planned that
these adult class periods
will continue for some time
depending on community re-
sponse.
