How a Willamette Valley
Crop Goes up in Smoke
Friday, July 28
“Haven’t
a bean!”
This fellow doesn’t have a
carrot in the bin or a bean to call
his own—he lives from day to
day and never saves a thing. Some
people live the same way —
they spend all they earn and never
plan for the future. Open a
savings account now and pay
yourself first every payday. Keep
saving regularly, and you’ll
harvest a lot of long green to enjoy
when you’re out to pasture.
Enough for beans, anyway.
Mr. and Mrs. Steve Chud-
