.Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Cree Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Bost wick and his sister, Miss Bet ty Bostwick were in Leban on over the weekend to at tend the wedding of his grand daughter, Miss Lana Kay Gray to Ray Taylor. The wed ding was held at the First Baptist church there. Mr. and Mrs. Bostwick ,who have pro perty interests here, have re turned to Livermore, Calif. They plan on moving here when he retires in two or three years. Pete Peterson and Janies Miller were among those from the Mill City Barracks attending the American Le gion convention in Salem last week. Headquarters for the event was the Marion Motor hotel. were hosts at their home for a buffet supper Sunday even ing following the ordination service for Larry Laird of Eugene. Present were Mr. and Mrs. Larry Laird, Mrs. Lois Lotspeich, Mrs. Gertrude L. Smith, Miss Betty Hackett, all of Eugene; Mr. and Mrs. Merle Garton, Mrs. Gordon McMorris, Miss Carol Rags dale, Donald Cree and the hosts. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Lewin of Whittier, Calif., are visit ing his father, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Lewin and his broth er-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Chudzinski. They have been in Mill City for a week and will go on to Can ada. Among the places of in terest they visited was Kah- Tee-Nah, the highly develop ed Indian Village near Mad ras. Teepees are inter mixed with modern cottages and beautiful swimming pools. The weather there was bright and warm. The Rambos said they would certainly suggest a trip there for something really different. Mr. and Mrs. W. P. Clark was in a chow line when Spencer sent word to meet him at the motor pool. Clark’s barricks is at Long Binh but he works at New- port which is approximately 14 miles from Long Binh.
