Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Kimmel were in Estacada Saturday to attend the annual reunion of the alumini of Estacada High school. “Doc” was a member of the class of 1916 and he said there were 480 graduates of the school and their spouses attending the reunion. The class of 1917 was especially honored on their 50th anniversary with 13 from the class of 25 at tending. Total precipita tion for May was recorded as 1.68, with the greatest amount as .57 on the 30th. The high est precipitation recorded was 8.77 in May, 1960. Muise said average rainfall for May is 3.87. Highest temperature read ing for the month was 88 de grees on the 21st and lowest was 30 degrees on the 2nd. Highest May temperature was 95 degrees in 1953 and 1963. Lowest temperature re corded was 25 degrees on May 1, 1954. Cloud 8 passed over the area peacefully late Monday afternoon, but that “Little Stinker” behind him stirred up the dust with 9-drops of rain.
