Salem sustained a broken left leg, right elbow, cuts and bruises in a one-car accident early Saturday morn ing when his car ran into a roadside bank about five miles east of Idanha. Reports indicated the car turned over twice throwing the victim out onto a pile of rocks. Browning, wearing a cast on his right leg, was alone in the car when the accident oc curred about 12:15 a. m. To Sponsor Bible School The Mill City Ministerial Association will sponsor the 1967 Vacation Church school for children of the commun ity. The theme this year will be “The God of Love.’’ The Kindergarten, Primary, and Junior age groups will meet for two consecutive weeks at the Presbyterian, church, June 5-9 and 12-16 from 9 to 11:45 a. m. The Junior and Junior High young people will meet for one week only at the Christ ian church from 7 to 9 each evening. A time of fun, fellowship and crafts, plus the unique new curriculum, Concordia Press, awaits each youngster who attends. Pre-registration was held Sunday, May 28 and will be held again Sunday, June 4 in the Sunday schools. However, those who are not able to register in a Sunday school, may do so the first day of the church school, June 5. Registration fee per family is $1.50. Heading the Kinder garten department will be Mrs. Wilma Shepherd; the Primary department, Miss Mary Heller; the Junior de partment, Mrs. Anna Lee Murray, and for the Junior high will be Mrs. Lee Lyness. Marilyn Club Meets At Lake Home DETROIT IDANHA Graduation ceremonies for the class of 1967 were held at the grade school gym on Friday evening, May 27. Commencement speaker was Dr. Dan Poling, Dean of men at OSU. His subject was “Responsibilities of an In dividual in a Democracy.” D. Barnhardt, school board chair man, presented the diplomas. The high school band, di rected by Spencer Hillesland, played the processional and Recessional marches. Valedictorian was Nancy Cogar and Salutatorian was Sandra Cooper.
